From the makers of the portable Vapman there is now the Element vaporizer for on the coffee table. To cool the clean vapour, the filter glass can be filled with water. Like the Vapman this vaporizer is handmade in Switzerland.
The casing of the Element Basic is made from Beech wood, whereas the casing of the Element Deluxe is made from darker nut wood. Both have been treated with organic wood oil.
Unless the herbs are very dusty it's recommended to vaporize without water in the filter glass. Without water it is easier to control the air flow. In case you wish to inhale with water, just fill the glass half way with water.
Make sure the lid is properly on the glass, then push the herb chamber well into the larger hole of the lid. Now you can place finely ground but not powdery herbs on to the screen in the chamber. The screen has to at least be well covered but not filled up higher than 1,25 cm (half an inch) of herbs.
Place the heating element into the herb chamber and switch the vaporizer on to the third and highest level and let it preheat for at least two minutes. Push the silicone hose with the glass tube well into the hole on the cover so the hose sticks there by itself.
After preheating you can start with inhaling. It is important to inhale gently and deep and to keep the vapour as long as possible in your lungs. In the beginning you may have to suck a couple of times before you can see vapour going through the filter glass.
Remember the air is hotter when you suck gently than when you create a strong flow of air by inhaling very fast. Therefore inhaling slowly will create far more vapour.
Depending on the type of plants you are vaporizing, more or less residues (oils) will stay on the parts where the vapour goes through. These parts can easily be cleaned by leaving them in dishwater for a while, or with alcohol if it has to be done quickly. In practice you don't have to clean these parts often, only as you feel inclined. The Element home vaporizer is extremely low-maintenance!
Please note: This item has a European plug and works on 90-240V. The plug is not suitable for (among other countries) the UK, Ireland, USA and Canada. Users in these countries will need an adapter plug.
