Digital Sales Manager

VapoShop is looking for a Sales Manager

Job Type: 3 - 4 days per week

Our products are in line with a healthy, conscious lifestyle that is being adopted by more and more people. We believe that this technology should be accessible to everyone, whether it is used medicinally or recreationally. Vaporizers in our webshop are advertised in a similar way as many other types of consumer electronics: a lifestyle product without stigma. In addition, we assist our customers as much as possible when buying our products.

What will you be doing? You will develop relationships with customers, our channel partners and you are in regular contact with our affiliates. Marketing’s job is to direct the organization towards the segments, or groups of customers and channels where the company can profitably compete. Marketing directs Sales as to where they should be hunting and what ammo to use. Your role is to create business opportunities and sales growth. You will be launching new products and improve the presentation of our products in our e-commerce shop. Furthermore, you will be coordinating our promotions and new products through our Marketing and Content department and through all other channels.  Ensuring the meticulous planning of our sales, implementing new strategies and using existing channels to increase sales. Finally, you will focus on finding new opportunities to promote our shops and products.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Native or near-native proficiency in Dutch and English
  • Fantastically written and oral communication skills (in both Dutch and English)
  • Experience with Google Analytics
  • Strong affinity with online advertising and e-commerce
  • Able to plan and strategize ahead at a professional level
  • Advanced problem-solving skills and able to take the initiative in order to implement a plan (entrepreneurial skills)
  • Proven experience of at least 1 to 2 years in a similar role at an online shop
  • It’s a bonus if you have a network in the vaporizer and/or smart shop scene.
  • Minimal HBO work and thinking level (or a dropout with serious skills)
  • A healthy dislike of bureaucracy and hierarchy
