The Flowermate V5.0 is a high tech, low cost portable vaporizer that will appeal to both rookie and seasoned vaporizer enthusiasts alike.
This compact vaporizer excels in affordability, efficiency and ease of use. With no unnecessary options or features and leaving little room for error, the Flowermate Vapormax makes a great choice for both rookie and seasoned vaporizer enthusiasts alike.
The manufacturer of the Flowermate V5.0, Smiss, have been in the e-cigarette industry for years, and learning from their customers and own research has led them to the development of their first 'dry herb vaporizer'.
The Flowermate V5.0 is configured to run at a (self-regulated) medium to high level temperature, to prevent combustion at all times.
With virtually no learning technique or additional accessories required for use, the Flowermate has to be one of the easiest to use vaporizers of this time.
Two high quality (2600 mAh Samsung/LG) built-in batteries will provide up to an impressive 2.5 hours of vaporizing on a full charge. Charging takes about 3 hours.
The Flowermate vaporizer is compact (measuring 6 x 2 x 10 cm) and easily fits in the palm of your hand. A hidden compartment inside the unit itself provides room for the (removable) mouthpiece, but can also be used to store other small items.
VapoShop offers two versions, the Flowermate V5.0 and the V5.0S. Both versions come with a (borosilicate) glass mouthpiece. The Flowermate V5.0S features three preset temperature settings, which can be selected by pressing the power button several times.
Potentially good vape but badly flawed by it's auto cutoff half way though the vape. To make matters worse Flowermate has non existent customer service.
Been using this model for some month now, and i am sort of disappointed by this device. For the pros first: Excellent battery life, fast charging time. good taste. Nice chamber easy to clean (superficially). Nice design but not as well build as it looks. The cons: Very hard draw: personally used to the Da Vinci, which has a very nice airflow, this one feels like you are sucking at a finger. This only gets worse when the chamber gets dirtier. As for the quality built: it feels sturdy at first but the two sliding covers are made of cheap plastic and broke in no time, had to manufacture new ones, Mac Gyver style. In short, i cannot recommend this unit (I don't know about the other Flowermate models, but airflow is for me the major issue of this model).
Found this, after my initial (positive) review: Do not tighten down the mouth piece too hard; only very lightly. When the oven gets really hot it tends to lock the threading (probably due to different heat-expansion in the metal parts). Twisting the glass-straw to loosen it (while still hot) will dislodge the bonding to the threaded metal part. The bonding agent used in fabrication seems to soften at operative temperatures, like some kind of hot-melt glue. Not a wise choice of material it seems. Not a huge problem, it sets again when cooled (maybe in a less desirable angle though), but definitely something to be aware of.
