IMPORTANT UPDATE: Changes to Online Sales of Smoking Products in the Netherlands

Effective from 1 July 2023, new legal regulations will come into effect that will impact the way we sell tobacco products and related items online. We wanted to keep you informed about these changes, so here's what you need to know:

What's Changing?

Online sales of tobacco products and related items will be prohibited. This means that starting from 1 July 2023, it will no longer be possible to sell smoking products through remote channels. This includes webshops, social media platforms, phone orders, chat services, and mail orders. The Dutch Food and Consumer Product Safety Authority (NVWA) will actively enforce this ban.

Which Items Are Affected?

The ban applies to smoking products, which encompass tobacco products as well as related items. The related items include electronic vaporizers, electronic heating devices, and herbal products intended for smoking. These specific products will no longer be available for online purchase by Dutch consumers.

What Does This Mean for You?

To ensure compliance with the new legislation, we, at Vaposhop, will be removing all electronic vaporizers and electronic heating devices from our Dutch shop website on the 30th of June 2023. As a result, these products will no longer be accessible for online ordering by our valued customers in the Netherlands.
