Warranty on vaporizers

The warranty period for vaporizers bought through VapoShop comprises two years. Some vaporizers have a longer warranty period than two years, such as extended warranty or lifetime warranty. If you have such a warranty and it has been under two years, we would be more than happy to help. After the initial two years, you should go to the website of the manufacturer and check out the warranty policy there. Please keep in mind that the warranty only applies to vaporizers that have been used correctly and that have been properly cleaned after use.

1. What does ‘limited warranty’ mean?

Limited warranty means that the warranty is not on all parts, i.e. not on the battery or other (loose) parts, such as an atomizer or mouthpieces.

2. What does ‘extended warranty’ mean?

Extended warranty means that on top of the standard two-year warranty we apply, you have a warranty for a longer period. E.g. lifetime warranty with Grasshopper, 10-year warranty with PAX. As mentioned before, in those cases where it has been over two years since purchasing, we’ll redirect you to the manufacturer’s website.

3. Special cases

There are some special cases when it comes to warranty. Below you will find the brands whose warranty differs from the standard warranty outlined above.

  • Grasshopper – although they offer a lifetime warranty, Grasshopper does not offer customer support; please contact us.

  • PAX – depending on the vaporizer, PAX offers two types of warranty: one of 10 years and a shorter one. Please contact us if you are unsure about which one you have.

  • Haze vaporizers – unfortunately, Haze brand does not exist any longer and we cannot offer any new vaporizers.

  • Verdamper - just like the Herborizer, there is no warranty if you break the glass.

4. Refurbished units

Refurbished models have a one year warranty with VapoShop. The manufacturer has the right to refuse the factory warranty for models that are 10 years or older.

5. Obsolete vaporizers

If a vaporizer is defective and obsolete, we will replace the device with a comparable unit within the same price range. In these cases, the warranty period is not reset: the warranty period of the initial purchase holds. It is not possible for you, as a customer, to pay extra and exchange for a more expensive model.

6. Vaporizer Consumables

Vaporizer consumables are loose parts of a vaporizer that are intended to be used and replaced after a certain period of time. If a consumable shows a manufacturing defect or turns out to be dead on arrival, we will replace it with a new one.

In general, consumables have no warranty. The following products should be categorized as consumables (note that this list is not exhaustive):

● mouthpieces

● screens

● glass parts

● accessories like concentrate inserts/capsules

● atomizers.

7. Batteries

The warranty period for batteries comprises six months. Batteries that show manufacturing defects and those that appear to be dead on arrival, will be replaced.

8. Chargers

The warranty period for chargers comprises two years.
